well would be in the right surroundings

better give you some background to the idea and the reson for the way it decided to try to blend

the cameleon cat
this is an animal that like a cameleon can change its skin to blend into its surroundings
about the size of a large tiger , it has the abilaty to change its colours to camoflarge its self mainly in the direction of its pray

pictured here ready to pounce but this perticular cat has been locked away in captivaty and other than the tree the only images it has to create its camoflarge from are the crowds of people that pass it each day although it still gives the impression that it could be almost invisible in the right conditions

the cat here is a genetic "missing link" between a cats and the cameleon dragon
......

really this was another test of conecpt for the skin texture i am wanting to apply to my dragon , the head is about right this time although i did sacrifice a bit of actual shape of the eyes in order to get the tree to hide the outlines
still working on the pose and such for a final picture
that has to work right to get a realy good double image
of eather a landscape or a dragon depending how you look at it , months so far

approximately 26 hours panting time , with airbrush on A2 (90Gsm) paper , using food colorings
could of spent a lot longer detailing all the images within

there must be arround 400 faces , a few skulls , a couple of aliens , a few other monsters in there , did manage to get a pointing finger , and a few other bits in there , some detailed some vauge like ghosts

well managed to get some practice with the airbrush
